Single-stock circuit breakers help control short-term volatility in stock prices
The self-regulatory framework is evolving to meet the needs of Canadian investors. IIROC enthusiastically supports the Canadian Securities Administrators’ decision to create a new, single, enhanced pan-Canadian?self-regulatory organization to better?protect investors, increase access to advice and support innovation.
Every two years, IIROC coordinates an industry business continuity test in accordance with section 12.4.1 of National Instrument 21-101 Marketplace Operation (NI 21-101). The next IIROC sponsored test is scheduled to take place later this year in October.
